This is my journey to become a healthier me. It began on January 26, 2010 and stalled out... I got a type 2 diabetes diagnosis on March 30, 2022 and started to focus on my health again. On November 8, 2022 I added Ozempic to my toolbox to help me shed some pounds and inches!

Week 91 Weigh In!

Well, it's nice to get that bit of a boost! It still hasn't been a stellar year but honestly, I'm not too fussed. Down is still down and beats the alternative. 85lbs in 91 weeks is good weight loss! The rate just took a drop off in the second year, which only makes sense. Weight loss isn't linear, even if we like to think of it like that.

Some of the fat I gained during my grief weeks is disappearing off my stomach again, which is great. I've still got a layer of fat on my belly, but my abs are getting more defined underneath it like they were at the end of the F45 challenge. I don't think I can sustain six days a week long term because that took a lot of time and focus, but I would like to do 4-5 days a week regularly if I can.
